On 'fire' for highschool

Today, during the highschool discussion groups, a fire started in the building right next to us! It was on the top floor and so were we! (Rember, it wasn't in the same building) But we were breathing in the smoke. So a few of the moms to go check it out. They came back all panicked and worried and told us to evacuate immediately! So we all ran down the 8 fights of stairs withought thinking how tired we could have been. That's called adrenaline! Later we went to one of the top floors of another building to finish the co-op. At first it was disorganized but we quickly fixed that. Krissy's science group went well today. She divided them up into 3 or 4 small groups. I participated in one and it was alot of fun. One Korean boy was in charge of leading it and I thought he spoke better English than he did Korean! Dad's English group didn't do so well. He had the advanced students so he had us read an article on FDR vs. Ronald Reagan. He gave us 15 minuets to read it. There was a girl that spoke fluent English but, when the time was up, she said that she wanted to be put in an easier group. Then she started crying! She would put her paper up to her face to hide it and gain her composure but when dad started to talk or look at her she would start it all over again! She is a very sweet girl and her father is a creation scientist who is on 'fire' for homeschooling. Everything else went well though.
We came home to a crock-pot dinner. : )
